Feds invest in Alberta Francophone schools
The Government of Canada, in partnership with the Alberta government, is investing more than $3 million in two new Francophone schools in the province. The money will go to building community spaces as part of construction of École Saint-Vital in Beaumont, Alberta, and École des Quatre-Vents in Peace River, Alberta. The Alberta government is investing $34 million overall in both projects.

Raboud appointed Bird chairman
Bird Construction has announced that Paul R. Raboud has been appointed chairman of the board. Raboud was the vice-chair of Bird until his retirement from that position in March 2017. He joined Bird in 1984 and was appointed a director in September 2008.
