KELOWNA, B.C. — Final approvals have been given to build a new elevated beachside condominium community in Kelowna.
The project is situated in the middle of Kelowna’s Lower Mission neighbourhood between Gyro Beach Park and Pandosy Village.
Kelowna City Council gave Stober Groups development final approvals on the project at a public hearing earlier this month.
“This is an exciting time for our company, after many years of owning the land and careful consultation we look forward to building this significant residential community that is not only on a premium beachside location, but steps away from shopping, cafes, restaurants and outdoor activities,” said Dave McAnerney, CEO of Stober Group, in a statement. “This is a showcase project for our company but also for our entirely local team that we have brought together including, Meiklejohn Architects Inc, Interior Design Team Begrand-Fast, Ecora Landscape Design and sales and marketing through Epic Real Estate.”
The community, named MOVALA, consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. Plans for MOVALA include a business centre with work hubs, a golf simulator, fitness centre and yoga studio, library, coffee bar, outdoor pool, hot tub, saunas and showers, a cabana beach club and bocce lawn.
