WINNIPEG, MAN. – Bison Run School, a $32 million elementary school, is set to open in Winnipeg on Jan. 30.

The two-storey, 81,400-square-foot school is in Winnipeg’s Waverly West neighbourhood, located at 60 Frontier Trail in the Pembina Trails School District, states a news release.

Bison Run has an 800-student capacity and was built to LEED Silver specifications.

“This modern facility, along with Pembina Trails Collegiate, will provide students and families with the opportunity to experience an inclusive, campus-concept K to 12 experience in years to come,” said Tim Johnson, board chair of the Pembina Trails School Division, in the release.
