Salvage Kings, seen on History Canada and through the Global TV app shines a spotlight on the work of Priestly Demolition as they deconstruct buildings while finding treasures (and trash) within. Head of salvage Ted Finch and foreman Justin Fortin joined digital media editor Warren Frey for a wide-ranging discussion on doing the job while a TV crew documents what they find.
Finch and Fortin explained how they balance doing their jobs while a camera crew films from a safe distance, and Finch explains how taking down buildings in rural towns can sometimes reveal hidden aspects of Canada’s history, as well as discussing some of their more unusual finds and giving a sneak peek of the upcoming season.
