On this episode of the Construction Record podcast, Journal of Commerce and Daily Commercial News national editor Vince Versace talks about the recent launch of online submission for Certificates of Substantial Performance and other legal notices in the DCN, one of several digital initiatives to help advertisers meet statutory obligations under the Ontario Construction Act.

Vince also reveals the podcast will head to Conexpo-Con/AGG 2020 in Las Vegas in March 2020, one of the largest construction conferences on the planet. Both Vince and digital media editor Warren Frey will be in attendance and we have big plans for coverage from the event, so keep checking back as we get closer to Con-Expo!

Speaking of conferences, Warren has an interview from Nashville, TN where the Mechanical Contractors of Canada (MCAC) are holding their annual conference. MCAC CEO Pierre Boucher and president Jack Bavis talked to Warren about the conference, the larger issues affecting the industry, and the upcoming federal election.

Daily Commercial News staff writer Don Wall also has an interview with Ontario minister of infrastructure Laurie Scott and Infrastructure Ontario president and CEO Ehren Cory, who recently  unveiled the provincial government’s new series of P3 projects.
