Tender Description

Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 14,000-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Abbotsford invites tenders for the Abbotsford Airport Terminal Upgrade and Expansion. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:

Removal of asphalt pavement, sidewalk and miscellaneous items;
Construction of approximately 14,000 ft2 of new building space, involving excavation, foundations, steel structure, timber structure.
Construction of interior fit out, partitions, finishes, millwork, mechanical and electrical.
Upgrading of existing roof structures to accommodate increased snow loads;
Seismic upgrade of existing structures
Removal of existing passenger loading bridge sections;
New elevated exterior passenger walkway sections;
New fencing, pavement, curb and gutter and concrete sidewalk;
Supply and installation of architectural finishes;
Replacement of existing HVAC work as optional work;
Emergency power supply to HVAC units as optional work;
New exterior airside passenger walkway canopies as optional work.
