Community Dialysis Unit (CDU) and Kidney Care Clinic (KCC) Relocation Project

Tender Description

Renovation of a medical facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,000-square-foot medical facility.

Renovations are located at the east end of a multi-tenant retail mall building. It has exposure on three sides with a loading/service area directly to the north and public/tenant grade parking of the south. The renovated space will accommodate Fraser Health’s Abbotsford Community Dialysis Unit, Kidney Care Clinic and Home Hemodialysis Training in a combination of clinic and office space. Construction work includes interior partitions and ceilings, finishes, aluminum storefront, minor structural work for accommodate the design, electrical and communications wiring, plumbing, HVAC and sprinklers as shown on the attached drawings. Hazardous material abatement and demolition has been done as part of a separate demolition contract. The Landlord is responsible for providing HVAC equipment to serve the space. Coordination with the Landlord’s Contractor may be required.
