Mount Revelstoke Campground Development

Tender Description

Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

To develop a campground at the location of the former superintendent’s house located 1 km from Revelstoke, on the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. The work includes the development of a road network, a sanitary sewer system including disposal field, a water distribution system from the City of Revelstoke, a power and communications connection to the site, the construction of a new washroom and shower building and also the renovation of the former superintendent’s house in to a campground centre and eating shelter. The project consists of 63 campsites which are varied between pull-through and back-in sites to accommodate Class A motorhomes and also walk-in tenting sites.
