Glass installation is underway on the podium of the Art Shoppe Lofts and Condos on Yonge Street in Toronto.
Freed Developments Ltd. and CD Capital Developments are the owners/developers and completion is scheduled for the end of 2019. Toddglen Construction along with Firstcon Group are constructing the 28-storey tower with 624 units, a 12-storey podium with two floors of retail/commercial, a party room, lounge, infinity pool, saunas, theatre, games room and a rooftop garden. The project was designed by architectsAlliance and consultants are Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); Novatrend Engineering Group (mechanical/electrical); Cecconi Simone Inc. (interior); and Janet Rosenberg & Studio (landscape). Subtrades include: Anchor Shoring & Caissons; Aquatech Dewatering; Roni Excavating; Tri-Krete Limited; Avenue Building Corp.; KC Structural; Ankor Engineering; State Window Corporation; Otis Canada; Municipal Mechanical; and Panson Electric.
