Tridel’s Aqualuna project breaks ground
Tridel tweeted this morning that construction at its Aqualuna at Bayside project on Toronto’s waterfront has officially begun. So far, the new construction site has been fenced off, the site has been cleared and the onsite construction offices have been set up.

Skills Ontario makes pitch to Ontario government
Skills Ontario released a statement this morning outlining its recommendations to the Government of Ontario for the forthcoming budget. The agency urges the province to scale up Skills Ontario’s programming, increase commitments to reaching underrepresented groups in skilled trades, and sustain and increase funding to Skills Ontario.
Roche Canada to spend half-billion on Mississauga site
The City of Mississauga is welcoming the news this morning that Hoffmann-La Roche Limited will spend $500 million over five years to establish a Global Pharma Technical (PT) Operations site at its Mississauga pharmaceutical headquarters. Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Ontario Minister of Health Christine Elliott and Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Vic Fedeli were on hand for the announcement.
