FirstOnSite Restoration acquires Spectrum
Mississauga, Ont.-based FirstOnSite Restoration Tuesday announced it has expanded its operations in Alberta and Saskatchewan with the signing of an agreement to acquire Spectrum Restoration. Spectrum, a commercial and residential restoration firm, has 40 employees at offices in Lloydminster, Sask. and Cold Lake, Alta.
Sun Metals completes Lorraine deal
Sun Metals Corp. today announced the closing of the acquisition of Teck Resources Limited’s 51 per cent joint venture interest in the Lorraine copper-gold project. Sun Metals now owns 100 per cent of the Lorraine project, which is located in northcentral B.C., 270 kilometres northwest of Prince George, B.C. There has not yet been a go-forward decision on the proposed mine.

Willow Lake Metis partner with Caneil
Willow Lake Metis Group based in Wood Buffalo Region, Alta. and engineering services firm Caneil announced yesterday they will enter into a partnership. The arrangement will provide increased capacity for the metis group in relation to asset integrity management, inspections and engineering services.
