SpeakEasy Cannabis on the move 

SpeakEasy Cannabis Club Ltd. has announced the completion of a 13,300-square-foot cannabis production facility in Rock Creek, B.C. It’s the first of three facilities expected to be completed in the second and third quarters this year resulting in a total of over 62,000 square feet of licensed indoor production and processing space 

Lafarge Canada announces Highway 19 improvement project 

Lafarge Canada is entering 2021 with road redesigns and upgrades west of Edmonton. The company will build 3.5 kilometres of four lanes of new road on Highway 19 as well as two new traffic signals and illumination of the Highway 19 and Highway 60 intersections. Lafarge will also do 1.5 kilometres of widening on Highway 60, a bridge culvert extension and a bridge culvert rehabilitation. Construction begins in the spring of 2021 and is scheduled for completion in October 2022.  

Nexii to open Vancouver Island plant 

Nexii Building Solutions has announced it will open a new green manufacturing plant on the southern end of Vancouver Island. It is currently exploring locations for the $50 million facility, which be developed under Nexii’s Certified Manufacturing program.
