TORONTO — B+H Architects has announced the appointment of two residential design specialists who will work in B+H’s Toronto and Vancouver offices respectively.
Both Macquinn Victoria and Soheil Khosravi Kermani are senior design experts with a broad portfolio of work across Canada, stated a June 16 release.
Victoria joins B+H’s Toronto studio as a senior associate. He has 18 years of cross-sector experience including high and mid-rise residential, mixed-use and office towers. At his previous firm, Victoria collaborated on the design and delivery of such Toronto projects as No.55 Mercer Condos, 8 Wellesley Condos and Grid Condos.
“I’m extremely excited to join B+H, a team of experts who share the same goal and whose approach to design is grounded in solutions that are thoughtful and built around elevating the human experience,” said Victoria in the statement.
Khosravi Kermani joins B+H’s Vancouver studio as a senior architect with 17 years of international experience in planning and design across a range of building typologies. B.C. projects he has worked on include the Whalley Gateway mixed-use development in Surrey and the Millennium Northmount mixed-use development in North Vancouver.
“I was drawn to B+H Vancouver’s tailored approach to residential design, one that blends the service of a boutique, locally rooted design studio supported by the resources of a global practice,” said Kermani.
A major upcoming project for B+H in Toronto is the design of the United Building, North America’s tallest heritage retention project. In Vancouver, B+H is currently leading the design of several developments including the Cambie Tower and The Little Mountain mixed-use development.
