CAMBRIDGE, ONT.—Alltrade Industrial Contractors Inc. marked its 10-year anniversary recently with a celebration at its headquarters in Cambridge, Ont.
The firm employs 200, operating out of three offices across Canada in the energy, transit, industrial and utility sectors, stated a release.
Kathryn McGarry, mayor of Cambridge, noted in a speech that Alltrade had worked on the development of Toyota’s cogeneration power system at its manufacturing plant in the city.
“Alltrade has been an ambassador for Cambridge across Canada, as well as a leader and wonderful community partner,” McGarry said.
“As we look to a better, cleaner and greener future, we know we need to find better and innovative ways of doing things and Alltrade is doing just that.”
Bob Ritzmann, Alltrade president and founder, noted in his address that Alltrade’s first employees are still with the company today.
Employees still live up to the firm’s original motto, he said: “Honesty, integrity and a fair price is not only the best policy, it is the only policy.”
Graeme Aitken, executive director of the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario, commented, “Bob led the charge in teaming up with the 11 local contractors associations to contribute more than $300,000 over the last two years for COVID impacts, specifically mental health and food security.”
