Russell is also working on a story about how Bill 22, B.C.’s new freedom of information bill, could affect the construction sector. Both the British Columbia Construction Association and the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association are opposing the bill.
Daily Commercial News staff writer Angela Gismondi also has a story about a recent Canada Green Building Council virtual conference featuring Martin Sing the team lead for sustainability and energy for the Centre Block Rehabilitation project. Sing spoke about many factors involved in adapting Canada’s Parliament Building to improve sustainability and ensure carbon neutrality.
