Pure Industrial Real Estate Trust (TSX-V: AAR.UN) announced this week it has closed the sale of a $15.1 million Manitoba industrial property whose tenants include the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
The property, located at 1725 Inkster Boulevard in Winnipeg, is on 12.77 acres of land with a total rentable area of 265,843 square feet. Pure Industrial Real Estate Trust (PIRET), which has acquired two million square feet of income-producing properties this year, said the property is 100 per cent leased.
PIRET has 59 properties in Canada with a total leasable area of more than 3.5 million square feet.
Other recent deals include an agreement announced May 31 to acquire property occupied by Kromet International Inc., a manufacturer of custom metal components and assemblies in Stoney Creek, Ontario. That transaction is intended as a sale leaseback agreement, for a purchase price of $3.104 million, whereby Kromet would continue to operate from that location and pay rent.
As of May 31, PIRET anticipated the Kromet sale leaseback agreement would close July 24.
