Work is well underway on a $35-million renovation to Vancouver’s iconic Science World at Telus World of Science. Heatherbrae Builders have been working on the project; Cannon Design is the architect.
The plan includes an exterior rehabilitation, as well as interior work. Major upgrades to the building’s system, foundation and structure are planned.
There will also be a small addition for extra gallery space. At the same time, Fraser River Pile and Dredge (GP) Inc. is the subcontractor to Heatherbrae Builders Co. Ltd. that has been working on upgrading the deck in front of the structure. Science World was originally built for Expo 86.
