Salter Pilon Architecture Inc. expects to complete the schematic designs for a multi-use recreational facility in Bradford-West Gwillimbury by early 2009.
They were awarded the design contractor in August for the facility that will be located at Holland Street West and West Park.
Once the schematic designs are complete for the $25 million building, Salton Pilon Architecture Inc. will seek approvals from the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury to begin further design work.
The new facility will include two ice hockey arenas, an aquatic complex, a fitness facility, a gymnasium and general use spaces. There may also be a library integrated into the facility.
