SAN CLEMENTE, CALIF. – Consolidated Contracting recently celebrated the ground-up construction of WellQuest of Menifee Lakes, a new three-storey, 134,641-square-foot, senior living community that opened its doors in Menifee Lakes, Calif.
Construction entailed wood framing with a steel support structure, installation of two elevators, and a Type V-A full fire-sprinkler system.
Consolidated Contracting, headquartered in San Clemente, Calif., began construction in Oct. 2019 and completed the project on time in June 2021.
Consolidated Contracting was retained by WellQuest Senior Living and FJ Management was the developer. Project consultants included Greg Irwin of Irwin Partners Architects as the architect; Conley360, space planner; Nelson Structural Engineers, structural engineer; Bam Consulting Engineers, civil engineer; United Brothers Concrete, sitework contractor; A Good Plumbing; Edge Mechanical, mechanical engineer; Cattrac, grading; Hondo Framing; AME Design Group, mechanical engineer; and Wilson Associates Landscape Architecture, landscape architect.
WellQuest of Menifee Lakes is comprised of 92 assisted and independent units ranging in size from 470 to 1,017 square feet, with six different floor plans to choose from; plus 30 memory care units ranging in size from 386 to 578 square feet, and featuring three different floor plans.
Amenities include a restaurant-style dining hall, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre with HUR fitness equipment, outdoor grilling and barbecue stations, an outdoor yoga studio, community clubhouse, fireside lounge, card room, library, an arts and crafts room, beauty salon, theatre room, onsite laundry facilities, walking trails, private resident parking and an onsite dog park.
