MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — Bridge House, the newest phase of the 72-acre master-planned Brightwater community in Port Credit, Ont. is building on the major revitalization in the community with three buildings connected by glass bridges designed to highlight and enhance Port Credit’s connections to the waterfront and the retail amenities flanked by the Village Square.
The development is a collaboration between the Port Credit West Village Partners – a consortium comprised of Kilmer Group, DiamondCorp, Dream Unlimited and FRAM + Slokker.
Designed by architectsAlliance, Bridge House at Brightwater consists of three buildings: Bridge House North, Bridge House South and Bridge House East, with two main towers standing at 15 storeys and 19 storeys.
On the sixth floor of Bridge House East is a shared amenity deck, rooftop swim spa with lounge seating, barbecue and dining areas overlooking the promenade and park, towards Lake Ontario. The pedestrian bridges connect the builds and allow residents to access the amenities.
Bridge House’s towers are cladded in glass and have frosted balconies with transparent cutaways at the corners. Themes of water and the area’s history are seen throughout the material palette: podiums feature masonry incorporating the site’s former use as a brickyard, whereas the towers emphasize the water with themes of reflection and light.
Interiors are by Truong Ly Design. The suite mix includes a mix of unit types designed in both condominium flats as well as townhouse-style.
