Technyx, a division of Canam Group that markets Building Information Modeling (BIM) services and the outsourcing of technical detailing resources, has acquired assets of Hong Kong-based InteliBuild Ltd.
InteliBuild provides consulting services to clients in Asia, China and the Middle East on projects that use BIM and 3D digital models. In 2008, the company received the BIM Award from Autodesk, a world leader in software design, for its work on the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal project in Hong Kong.
Canam Group operates 12 plants specialized in the design and fabrication of construction products and solutions. The new entity will operate under the name InteliBuild Technyx Asia.
