A man was injured and taken to hospital last week while working on an elevator at the Epcor Tower construction site in downtown Edmonton.
A man was injured and taken to hospital last week while working on an elevator at the Epcor Tower construction site in downtown Edmonton.
He was carrying out repairs to a materials hoist, when it moved, trapping him inside the tower with the counterweight. The incident happened on June 29.
Rescue crews needed nearly half an hour to rescue the man, who was taken to hospital with a leg injury. He works for Ledcor Construction Ltd.
