Hatch wins two ACEC-Ontario Awards of Distinction
CANADIAN INSTITUTE OF STEEL CONSTRUCTION — Entuitive has received an ACEC-Ontario Award of Distinction for its Port Lands Bridges project.

MISSISSAUGA — Mississauga-based engineering firm Hatch won two Awards of Distinction recently as the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Ontario (ACEC-Ontario) hosted its 20th annual Ontario Engineering Project Awards.

The association handed out 10 Awards of Distinction and honours for new categories, in Internal Innovation and Sustainability. The gala was held May 10.

The top honour, the Willis Chipman award, went to AECOM for its Ontario Line Immersive Studio project.

Awards of Distinction winners are as follows:  LEA Consulting, Water Management Plan by Site 46X-0176/BO; Dillon Consulting, Sewer and Coastal Flood Protection Master Plan Process Gas Project and Particulate Emissions Project; Hatch, Sudbury Smelter; Entuitive, Port Lands Bridges; Eramosa Engineering, Mine Remediation Cloud SCADA Integration; J.L. Richards and Associates, Manotick Watermain Link, Phase 1 and North Island Watermain Link; Hatch, Kingston Third Crossing; Eramosa Engineering, Electrical Power Studies and Arc Flash Models for Multiple Wastewater Facilities; McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers, Ducks Unlimited Canada Project Infrastructure Inspections for 250 Sites in Ontario; and R.V. Anderson Associates, Central Bridge Replacement and Additional Works.

The Sustainable Development Impact Award was presented to Dillon Consulting Limited for its Collins Creek Wildlife Mitigation Project. 

An Innovation for Philanthropy and Community Engagement award went to TULLOCH Engineering for its Hockey Night in Huntsville Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Game. The Innovation, Recruitment and Retention award was given to BBA for BBA’s Great Adventure | Onboarding Program.

A one-time Humanitarian Award was awarded to R.J. Burnside and Associates for its Godey Water Supply Project.
