TORONTO — The Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) will be hosting the 2023 Engineering Conference on Thursday, Nov. 2 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The full-day conference will include over 12 sessions focusing on technical engineering topics, four panels on diversity and inclusion in engineering and over 100 trade show/recruitment booths. Hundreds of guests are anticipated to attend the morning plenary, lunch keynote, learning sessions and EDI panels, plus thousands more at the trade show and recruitment event.
If your organization champions diversity and inclusion in STEM, consider taking the stage as a panellist or moderator and join one of four panels on EDI. The panel topics will cover the most critical issues facing the profession and society including: Measuring EDI Change within a Company; Leadership in EDI within a Company; Opportunities for EDI Change in Recruitment and Retention; and Powering EDI Change through Economic Policies.
The conference is also an opportunity to meet Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. Professional engineers can count learning session hours towards their CPD needs.
Tickets to the Ontario Professional Engineers Awards Gala, which will be held the same evening at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, are also available. The formal gala, first hosted in 1947, is the annual celebration of engineering excellence in Ontario.
