Construction complete on $24.7M mixed-income housing development in Minnesota

ST. PAUL, MINN. — Big-D Midwest has completed its work on Londin Crossing, a 148-unit housing development in Maplewood, Minn.

Big-D, a member of the Big-D Construction Family of Companies, worked with the project’s developer, Real Estate Equities and architect, Kaas Wilson Architects. Construction began in April 2022 and the structure was completed on time at a total cost of $24.7 million.

Londin Crossing, one of the area’s first non-LIHTC workforce housing developments, includes a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units and will serve future residents at three different income levels—60 per cent area median income (AMI), 80 per cent AMI and market rate, indicates a release.

Amenities include a fitness center, dog run, barbecue and picnic areas, a playground and underground parking.
