Northwestern B.C. residents invited to participate in corridor-planning survey

DEASE LAKE, B.C. – Residents of British Columbia’s northwestern communities are being asked by the provincial government to share their input on the future of two northern highways via a survey io inform planning on the projects.

B.C.’s Ministry of Transportation is studying the long-term transportation needs of northwestern communities and businesses that rely on Highways 37 and 37A and is seeking public input. 

Transportation planning work will assess the current highways and identify possible opportunities for improvements to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable movement of people and goods into the future, a release stated.

Anyone who uses Highways 37, from Kitwanga to the Yukon border, and Highway 37A is invited to share their views through a confidential survey open to all residents until Nov. 24.
