Ground broken on Decatur Landing Apartment Complex in Minnesota

ST. PAUL, MINN. — Construction is underway for phase one of Decatur Landing, a multi-family development by Big-D Midwest located in Brooklyn Park, Minn.

Located on the southwest corner of Highway 169 and 610, the Decatur Landing Apartments marks Big-D Midwest’s 12^th project with developer Real Estate Equities. The development will be affordable to those making 60 per cent of the area median income, with about five per cent of the units set at 30 per cent AMI and 15 per cent set at 70 per cent AMI, indicates a release.

Designed by Kaas Wilson Architects, Decatur Landing features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments designed with modern finishes. Each of the 175 units includes walk-in closets, granite countertops, garbage disposals and pendant lighting.

Community amenities include a two-storey underground parking garage, onsite fitness center and a clubhouse with space to socialize, as well as an outdoor play area and grill stations.
