3motionAI’s AI technology flags musculoskeletal injury risk

3motionAI’s AI technology flags musculoskeletal injury risk

TORONTO — With many adults around the world suffering from musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries, 3motionAI is aiming to revolutionize the assessment, performance enhancement and management of MSK injuries on a large scale.

The company’s approach aims to pre-emptively address the root cause of MSK injuries, states a release. Unlike traditional methods involving manual data collection, physical exams and motion sensors – typically collected and conducted post-injury – 3motionAI offers a streamlined solution with real-time data capture, analysis and predictive reporting.

Through a mobile app, users receive instant actionable insights through the 3motionAI technology, flagging performance indicators and hidden injury risks.

Using injury management tools, 3motionAI aims to reduce the annual $600 billion spent by employers on workplace injuries, the $420 billion spent by insurers on MSK care and the 36 per cent of surgeries that are avoidable, collectively impacting employers, insurers and sports teams, adds the release.

“With millions poured into managing post-injury needs and recovery, it’s time to prioritize prevention through technology,” said Reed Hanoun, founder and CEO of 3motionAI, in a statement. “These injuries are preventable, and our mission is to halt them before they occur.”
