David Lindsay reappointed as chair of Infrastructure Ontario

TORONTO — Ontario’s Minister of Infrastructure Kinga Surma recently announced that David Lindsey has been reappointed as chair of Infrastructure Ontario’s board of directors for an additional three years.

According to a statement, since his appointment in 2021, he has fulfilled an important advisory role for the government and ensured the agency’s corporate governance continues to meet the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Lindsay served as an Ontario deputy minister in half a dozen portfolios including energy and infrastructure, northern development, mines and forestry, natural resources, tourism and culture.

Prior to that he was the president of Colleges Ontario.

According to a biography, in 1999 Lindsay was the founding president of the Ontario SuperBuild Corporation. Prior to that he was president of the Ontario Jobs and Investment Board. From 1995 to 1997 he served as chief of staff to the premier of Ontario.
