TORONTO — An inquest will be held into the death of Christopher Panepinto who died on a construction site in 2020.
The announcement was made by Dr. Joel Kirsh, regional supervising coroner, central region, Central East Office.
Panepinto, 33 years old, died on February 10, 2020, from injuries sustained while working on a construction site in Pickering, Ont.
An inquest has been called to examine the circumstances surrounding Panepinto’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
The date and location of the inquest has not yet been determined. Further details will be provided at a later date.
