DEEP RIVER, ONT. — Construction is underway on the Four Seasons Lodge, a new 96-bed long-term care home in Deep River, Ont.
The new facility will replace an existing 14-bed long-term care home. It will provide 86 new and 10 upgraded and redeveloped beds and is expected to welcome its first residents in early 2027, stated a release.
The new building will be air conditioned and will feature three resident home areas, designed to create a more intimate and familiar living space for up to 32 residents, with dining and activity areas, lounges and bedrooms.
The lodge will be adjacent to the Deep River and District Hospital and will be part of a campus of care.
The project received funding from the recently extended Construction Funding Subsidy top-up program targeting long-term care homes.
