NEW YORK CITY—The New York Chapter of Professional Women in Construction (PWC NY) will hold its annual Salute to Women of Achievement, which honors professionals at the highest levels of the architecture/ engineering/construction industry, on Sept. 18.
The dinner will take place in New York City at The View at Battery Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The honorees are selected for their career accomplishments and recognized for their commitment to lead and mentor, stated a release.
“Shining the spotlight on the successful careers of the honorees is one of the best ways to show women there is a place in the AEC industry for them,” stated PWC NY executive director Gina Rivera in a statement. “Bringing women together to learn and grow from each other is a main focus of PWC.”
The 2024 Women of Achievement are Rachel Birnboim, co-managing principal at Perkins Eastman, where she focuses on health care architecture; Deborah Bradley, president and founder, Bradley Construction; and Indhira Figuereo Blaney, senior vice-president, WSP, where she leads her team in aviation business development.
