PCL’s Morley, RESCON’s Pariser announced as Skills Ontario board leadership for 2025

TORONTO — Skills Ontario has announced two key leadership positions to its board of directors for 2025-26.

David Morley, vice-president at Pomerleau Construction, has been appointed chair of the board, while Andrew Pariser, vice-president of the Residential Construction Council of Ontario (RESCON), will serve as vice-chair.

Paul Armstrong, president of Mohawk College, will continue to play a role on the board as past-chair.

Morley is an experienced leader in infrastructure across public and private sectors and a strong advocate for youth skills development, explains a release, while Pariser is known for his dedication to advancing opportunities in skilled trades and for his strong track record of driving initiatives that support workers and industry growth.

“With David Morley as chair and Andrew Pariser as vice-chair, we are confident that Skills Ontario will continue to create career pathways that change lives for Ontario’s youth,” said Ian Howcroft, CEO of Skills Ontario, in a statement.

“Their leadership reflects our commitment to working with the provincial government, private businesses, and educators to help young people pursue careers in skilled trades and technologies.”

Additionally, the board includes senior leaders from organizations such as Ontario Power Generation, Humber Polytechnic, Deloitte and Eastern Construction.
