Westpro Constructors acquired by Giffels parent Ingenium

The Ingenium Group of companies said Thursday it has acquired Surrey, B.C.-based Westpro Constructors Group Ltd.

The Ingenium Group of companies said Thursday it has acquired Surrey, B.C.-based Westpro Constructors Group Ltd.

This deal will merge Westpro with Ingenium’s construction division, comprising Giffels Corp., Giffels Infrastructure Inc., Giffels Partnership Solutions and Design & Construction Giffels Quebec Inc.

“The addition of Westpro will complement and expand Giffels’ diversified range of services and expertise in construction, design-build and partnership solutions coast to coast,” Giffels said in a news release.

Westpro, established in 1993, is a multi-disciplined firm which deals in all aspects of heavy civil construction including; earthworks, sewer and water, welded steel water main construction, concrete forming and placing, infrastructure, mechanical and electrical construction.
