VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) has announced nominations are officially open for the 2025 Awards of Excellence Outstanding Achievement Awards.
These awards honour the visionaries, changemakers and industry champions who are building more than just projects, they’re building a stronger and more inclusive construction sector, states the association.
This year there are two new categories being added to the mix. The Inclusive Leadership in Construction Award celebrates individuals or organizations actively advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the Leadership in Accessibility Award recognizes efforts that remove barriers and create accessible built environments and inclusive jobsites for all.
The other award categories are as follows:
- Lifetime Achievement
- Outstanding Woman in Construction
- Education Leadership
- Safety Excellence
- Innovation and Productivity
- Sustainability Leadership
- Workforce Development Champion
“The Outstanding Achievement Awards are about celebrating the people who raise the bar for all of us. Whether they’re driving innovation, fostering inclusive cultures, or building safer, more accessible spaces these are the leaders shaping the future of B.C.’s construction industry,” said VRCA President Jeannine Martin.
All nominations must be submitted by Monday, June 30.
