Owner/developer Tridel Corp. and Deltera Inc. began the seven-storey, 104-unit Renaissance of Richmond Hill project in August 2007. Completion is scheduled for summer 2009.
Designed by Burka Varacalli Architects Inc., Renaissance will be an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly building and is registered with the Canada Green Building Council as a LEED® candidate.
The building offers steam rooms, fitness gymnasium, ballroom, entertainment lounge and private landscaped terrace, along with ground-floor retail and three levels of underground parking.
Consultants are Sigmund Soudack & Associates Ltd. (structural); Stantec (mechanical/electrical); and NAK Design Group (landscape).
Subtrades include Magine Contractors (site work/excavation); Rumble Foundations Contractors Ltd.; C & T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd.; CIP Group (formwork); Roman Metals (misc. metals); Metrix Ready Mix; Gottardo Masonry; Network Mechanical; Millenium Electric; Toro Aluminum Ltd.
