A worker directs the concrete bucket for the Sixty Loft project on Bathurst Street in Toronto. Owner/developer/contractor Sorbara Development Group began the 11-storey, 172-unit project in May and completion is expected for December 2007. The work also includes three levels of underground parking and ground floor retail. The Sixty Loft project was designed by Quadrangle Architects. Consultants are: Stephenson Engineering (structural); and Nova Trend Engineering (mechanical/electrical). Subcontractors include: Michael Bros. Excavating; Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd.; Linton Forming (formwork); Harris Rebar; Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Denham Masonry; Vicor Mechanical: Speedy Electric; Primeline Windows; and Kone Inc. (elevators).
