Steel work progresses for the Bentall Maple Leaf Consumer Foods’ new office building on Financial Drive in Mississauga, Ont. EllisDon Design-Build Inc. began the 5-storey building with mechanical penthouse in July and completion is expected in late 2006.
The Project Team
The Bentall Maple Leaf Consumers Foods’ office was designed by Adamson Associates Architects. Consultants are: Stephenson Engineering Ltd. (structural); Sprint Insight Inc. (design-build mechanical/electrical); and Baker Turner Inc. (landscape). Subcontractors include: Metric Contracting Services Co. (excavation); XDG Ltd. (formwork); Harris Omer (rebar supply); Tresman Steel Industries Ltd. (structural steel); Innocon Inc. (concrete supply); Kappeler Masonry; C + H Fire Suppression Systems Inc. (sprinklers/fire protection); Barrie Glass & Mirror Ltd. (windows); Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. (roofing); Kone Inc. (elevators); and Pylon Paving (1996) Inc.
