Work is approaching the top floor of the Five Condos at 5 St. Joseph St. in Toronto, Ont.
Graywood Developments Ltd. along with 5SJ Construction Management have completion of the 50 storey, 539-unit project with top two floors for mechanical room scheduled for winter 2015. An existing heritage building on site is being restored with retail on the ground floor. The project will also include a party room, billiards, a cocktail lounge, fitness facility and underground parking. The project was designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects and the heritage architect is E.R.A. Architects. Consultants are: Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural); Able Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical); Cecconi Simone Inc. (interior) and Janet Rosenberg & Associates Inc. (landscape). Subtrades include: Historic Restoration Inc.; Delgant (Civil) Ltd. (formwork); Salit Steel (rebar); Innocon Inc.
