Work is progressing on the King Blue condos and mixed-use project by developer Greenland Group in Toronto.
EllisDon is construction manager for the two-tower project with a seven-storey boutique hotel and a theatre museum on the site of the historic Westinghouse building that will be preserved. The towers will be 44 storeys and 48 storeys with over 900 units and completion has been scheduled for 2018. There will be a lounge, multimedia room, conference areas, fitness facilities, a rooftop terrace and a pool. The architects for the project are B+H Architects and Page+Steele/IBI Group. The heritage architects are ERA Architects and NAK Design is the landscape architect. Subtrades include: Michael Bros. Excavating.
