Scope

New construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Sarnia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 100,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, 160-bed elderly care / assisted living facility. SEM Construction is Acting as the construction manager on behalf of Steeves & Rozema Group to deliver a new 160 bed long term care facility in Sarnia, Ontario. The tender covers partial demolition to the current Trillium Villa nursing home in Sarnia, ON. In addition the construction of the civil, mechanical, and electrical aspects of the new facility. The new Trillium Villa nursing home will span approximately 33,000 SF across 3 floors, resulting in a total of 100,000 SF of modern long-term care space. The Architectural & Structural components of the project will be published for tender early next year. Anticipated Construction Budget: $40 Million (Entire Development) Construction Schedule: March 2024 to June 2026.
