Scope
Renovation and addition to an elderly care / assisted living facility in Long Sault, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 35,000-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility; and for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility. Woodland Villa is an existing 111 bed long-term care home located in Long Sault Ontario. The home is undergoing a modernization and expansion from a 111 bed facility, to a 128 bed long-term care home. The existing building is a wood frame, slab on grade structure, with a sloped wood truss roof structure. Exterior walls are clad in an architectural concrete block masonry veneer, with wood windows and the roof is clad in asphalt shingles, with metal gutters and metal panel soffits. The interior is undergoing a substantial renovation. The existing building is approximately 40,000 square feet. The proposed addition will be approximately 35,000 square feet. It will be a wood frame, slab on grade structure with a sloped wood truss roof structure.
