Scope
Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 130,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, eight-unit, 96-room elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility. Construction of a 96-place seniors' and alternative home that will offer 72 places for seniors and 24 places for adults with specific needs. The building will provide residents with a living environment on a human scale, consisting of eight air-conditioned units with 12 places each, and comprising individual rooms with toilet and shower adapted for each resident. TIMELINE: The owner has not accepted any of bids submitted for the tender for the general contractor 44523345 and cancelled it. The owner is redefining the project scope and expects to re-issue a tender in mid-/late fall 2021. Further update at that time.
