Scarborough Health Network - General Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Redevelopment and Replacement Operating Room Project

Scope

Renovation of a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility. Description of Deliverables: This construction tender represents the competitive process to award the construction contract to the successful Respondent. The Diagnostic Imaging Redevelopment Project will provide integrated and expanded diagnostic imaging services at the General Hospital and support the Scarborough Health Network as a Regional Level 2 Vascular Centre. The approximately 36,000 sq ft renovation will help to improve service provisions by collocating modalities, improving work processes and performance, and increasing patient and staff satisfaction. The existing shell space located within the lower concourse level of the General Hospital site is the focus of the major diagnostic imaging redevelopment, with a vascular OR renovation to be completed on the 3rd floor. Concourse level construction is expected to be complete in a single phase while the OR component is anticipated to require multiple construction phases. This scope of work will be carried out using a CCDC-2 (2020) Construction Contract. List of Pre-Qualified Contractors: Names of the General, Mechanical and Electrical Contractors who were pre-qualified during the prequalification stage and eligible to participate in the construction tender process are listed below. Bidders may request clarifications of this RFT by submitting all requests through the secure messaging process in OTP, no later than March 31, 2022.
