Listowel District Secondary School Roof Areas G, H, J & L2

Scope

Renovation of an educational facility in Listowel, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The project scope consists of the re-roofing of Roof Areas G (+/- 6269 SF), H (+/- 1369 SF) and L2 (+/- 5072 SF), roof blister repair at Roof J (+/- 5093 SF) and the installation of metal cladding at 2 existing window walls. This includes the removal and disposal of the existing roof systems, and the installation of a 2-Ply Modified Bitumen Asphalt-Free roof system throughout, complete with raised mechanical units and parapets to accommodate added insulation. Roofing contractors shall be a qualified installer under the Soprema P.A.Q.+S warranty system. Proof of qualification will be required before tender prices are opened. Bid Bonds are required to accompany the tender in the amounts of $76,000.00 (Seventy-Six Thousand Dollars) Successful bidder will be required to provide 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond. Access to the school will be available on this day only. Contractors wishing to inspect the above noted roof are asked to check in at the office upon arrival.
