Fire Alarm System Upgrade - New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) Saint John

Scope

Renovation of an educational facility in Saint John, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Supply and installation of a new fire alarm control panel in Building C. All F/A devices are to be replaced with new in Building C. .2 Upgrade existing bells to horn/strobes in Building A and B. Additional horn/strobes to be added where required. .3 The existing sprinkler devices associated with Building C are to be re-routed to the new FACP in Building C. .4 Connect the existing kitchen fire suppression system to the FACP in Building A. .5 Connect the existing FACP's in the Energy Building, Building A and the Multi-Trades Building to the new FACP in Building C through fibre for a fully functional high speed networked fire alarm system. .6 Fire alarm system to be fully verified to CAN/ULC-S536-04. Existing FACP's shall be verified as required when systems/loops have been modified. .7 Provide all required fire watch for the duration of the project.
