Scope
Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Hanover, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 75,698-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade, 128-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility. New long-term care home to be constructed on a greenfield site in a single phase. Two-storey combustible with a partial basement totaling 7,037m2 accommodating 128 beds in 4 Resident Home Areas. Construction is scheduled to commence July 31, 2023. TIMELINE: RFP for a Construction Manager (CM) has closed; a CM has been selected. Prequalification for sub trades is underway; details are followed on a separate report. *Award amount is unreleased for publication.
