TRADE Prequalification - The Villages of Ajax - LTC Home

Scope

New construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Ajax, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 135,000-square-foot, six-story above grade, 192-bed elderly care / assisted living facility. DOCUMENTS are only available by contacting the Construction Manager. Do NOT CONTACT the architect and / or consultants for information. Schlegel Villages intends to build a new Long-Term Care Home in Ajax, Ontario. The site will be developed in two phases, with the Long-Term Care Home completed in Phase I and the Retirement Home completed in Phase II. The new Long-Term care Home is concrete, structural steel and precast structure. The building envelope consists of masonry veneer, glazed curtainwall, vinyl windows and TPO roof system. Actual Bids for the various subcontractors are expected to be issued between Q1 of 2023 and Q2 2023. The anticipated project construction schedule is 24 months. Contractors listed below are invited to respond in writing: -Mechanical; -Electrical; -Sprinkler; -Site Services; -Structural Steel and Metal Deck; -Paving, Curbs and Walks; -Landscaping; -Concrete Work and Formwork; -Precast Concrete Slabs and Stairs; -Miscellaneous Metals; -Masonry; -Roofing and Metal Flashings; -Excavation and Backfill; -Millwork and Carpentry; -Steel and Wood Doors / Frames and Finish Hardware; -Painting and Wall Coverings; -Floor Finishes; -Drywall and Acoustics; -Aluminum Curtainwall, Vinyl Windows and Glazing. The following documentation must be submitted: 1 ---- Fully completed CCDC 11-2019 2 ---- WSIB CAD-7 (past injury frequency performance) Submission shall include letter authorizing Owner, Construction Manager and Consultants to verify contents of submissions, including contracting references from projects listed in the CCDC-11. References may be contacted by phone, email or fax. Sealed hardcopy or emailed (email limit no larger than 10MB) prequalification statements must be received by the Construction Manager on or before January 13, 2023 3PM local time at 131 Delta Park Blvd, Brampton, ON L6T 5M8. Schlegel Villages and Aquicon Construction Ltd reserve the right to select only those proponents which are deemed suitable and qualified to undertake the project. The prequalification process does not constitute any obligation on the part of Schlegel Villages or Aquicon Construction Co. Ltd to prequalify and enter into a subcontract agreement with any proponent. Only the proponents deemed qualified to perform on the project will receive bid documents at a later date. Schlegel Villages reserves the right to reject any and all submissions.
