Daylu Dena Health Centre Dental Clinic Expansion & Office Renovation

Scope

Renovation and addition to a medical facility in Lower Post, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,592-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility. The scope of work shall include the interior renovation of the existing Health Centre to expand the Dental Clinic and interior Office Renovation. The total existing building area is 422.1 m2 in an existing one storey wood frame building. The Dental Clinic Expansion and Office Renovation works include an area of approximately 240 m2. Interior work includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of the Dental Clinic, Laundry room, Server and Copy room, Secure Storage, Files room, Staff room, Gym / Council Meeting room, Exam rooms and Nurse Office. Exterior works include the replacement of exterior doors and the installation of a heat trace system to the north, east and west sides of the building's standing seam metal roof including the galvanized metal scupper on the east side of the building. As part of the project, a detailed investigation of the roofing system will be conducted by a specialized and RCABC approved roofing contractor, to assess the existing condition of the roof as required. The existing dental equipment is to be re-used. All dental equipment to be by the Owner, supplied and connected by Henry Schein Canada Inc. Rough-ins, utilities, and service installation to be by the General Contractor, Mechanical and Electrical trade(s) / subcontractor(s).
