RFP - Design-Build Expansion of Fire Hall

Scope

Site work and addition to a fire / police facility in Carberry, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the addition of a 5,400-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility. The councils of the Town of Carberry and Municipality of North Cypress-Langford (Councils), invite proponents to submit detailed design-build proposals for the construction of an addition to our existing fire hall. A contract will be awarded to one design-build firm for this project. The site for the expansion will be located at 515 4th Avenue in Carberry. The project will involve the detailed drawings by licensed professionals, followed by construction. The expansion will house the Carberry North Cypress-Langford Fire Department (Department), and will be approximately 5400 square feet, including 3 vehicle bays, one of which is drive-through. A detailed list of mandatory design elements, including a sketch by the Department, are included in this RFP. Also included, as appendices, are the requirements by the Office of the Fire Commissioner. * This project is being re-tendered. Scope of work may have changed.
